School Meals & Healthy eating

This school is a nut free zone and we should be grateful if all parents would assist us in maintaining this policy.

Lunchtimes

At Dinton Primary School children are given the choice of having either a 2 course lunch cooked on the premises (which is provided free for all children in EYFS, Year 1 & Year 2, the charge for children in years 3 – 6 is currently £2.30 per day) or a packed lunch, which parents prepare and send in with their child.These options can be alternated or mixed during the week and are booked 3 weeks at a time.

If parents choose to provide their child with a packed lunch we request that you do not include sweets, chocolate bars, other confectionaries or fizzy drinks.
